If I were to throw a party today, I'd celebrate my work life. Almost three years ago, I made the decision to shift my coaching practice from face-to-face to an online environment. Little did I know that this choice would turn out to be serendipitous.
In today's context, with our pandemic-induced remote work experiences, this decision may not seem as risky. However, at that time, offering coaching solely online was a serious and thoughtful business decision, considering the sensitive and personal nature of the work.
Creating an even more flexible schedule and working internationally sounded like music to my ears, and my prospective business adventure was jam-packed with challenges to grow personally. I knew I had to rely on my experience and willpower, the support of my loved one, and my instinct that an online business would combine my strengths.
Fast forward to today? Last weekend, I had an inspiring three-hour online coaching session that flew by. Taking a look at the upcoming week, I couldn't be happier. Alongside my personal and business coaching clients, I am excited about working with two ambitious multinational teams in online workshops.
Even more importantly: I'm always thirsty for a creative outlet, and my calendar shows a promising balance of working with clients and creating space for reflection and creative work. The adventure continues, and I raise a toast to that! Cheers!
Remember, you don't need a specific occasion to celebrate. You can create one yourself! It's an invitation to check in with your inner world.
I invite you to reflect: What would I celebrate today? How would my celebration look? How does it feel to celebrate? What else comes to mind?
Take a moment to jot down your thoughts. Once you're done, take a deep breath and fully embrace the joy of your inner celebration once more.
